This is a book of short story memoirs. I was not sure if I was going to like it at first, but it has quickly become one of my favorites. All the stories in the book are unbelievable and hilarious. The stories span from Augusten Burroughs' childhood to adulthood. You learn a lot about his friends, some of whom were unbelievably bold. I recommend this book to everyone. It was very funny.

not the best of Burrough's work - this is not as personal, but I still love his wit.

This book is laugh out loud funny, and I got really mad when he spoke of writing Sellavision in a week, talented sob. Rants without making victim, love his work.

Reading Augusten's books makes me feel so...related to him. His mindset and the way he thinks / deals with things. His short stories are hilarious and amazing and funny, yet sad and heartfelt at the same time. This is a book that everyone should read.
