BLAH!! wrote this review Friday, July 10 2009. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No“Loamhedge is the story of a town called "Redwall". The town consists of large towers and castle-like buildings that sit in between gardens and lakes and all surrounded by high barriers to keep out the vermin animals. Did I forget to mention all of the characters are animals? anyway the story follows a group of redwallers that are destined to find an ancient place called Loamhedge but it is so mysterious that no one even knows if it is real or not. They have to batlle their way past rivers, brave starvation and thirst as they battle through a desert and even use their intelligence to fight there way meanwhile meetin up with a large badger set for getting vengeance for his father who was brutally murdered by a vermin gang leader named Raga Bol. Their goal is ultimately To find loamhedge and uncover the secret that will allow one of the maids back at redwall to walk again. It is an action packed book set to interest the reader and connect the reader to the characters. overall a good book Although it was rather long for my liking.”
