SUMMARY: Hedge-fund manager Charles Friedman is killed in a terrorist attack in Grand Central Station. Detective Ty Hauck, investigating a hit and run accident that occurred hours after the attack, meets with Friedman’s wife, Karen, when Charles’ name is linked to the accident victim. Karen and her children are threatened by men demanding a large amount of money from her husband and she turns to Hauck for help when she makes a shocking discovery about Charles.
