“I did enjoy this book, but I also found it a little hard going at times. Something is definitely lost in translation - there are frequent grammar mistakes and the dialogue can come across as very false. The ending disappointed me too, I just didn't get a sense of closure from it, though I realise this is the first in a trilogy.
All of this aside, the premise is a good one and I did enjoy the storyline, I was just a little disappointed with the construction. I liked it enough to want to read the second book though.”
