Did no one else find it disturbing that a young teenaged girl could find no identity outside of her relationships with boys? I was frustrated with Bella from the beginning (what a terrible and shelfish "friend" she was) but when she described herself as "a moon without a planet" when Edward left, I was furious. Teenage love and angst is one thing but Bella is almost suicidal and doesn't show any spark of life until, of course, she starts getting attention from another guy. I get the attraction of the conflict a love triangle can bring but is this really the message we want to ingrain in young girls?

I was devastated when Edward left Bella, not leaving a trace of the Cullen’s existence. I was distraught to see that Bella slipped into her zombie like state, not talking to anyone, not eating, not even remembering the months that passed by when she snapped out of her daze. Jacob is a nice boy & makes a great friend always watching her back, but I prefer Edward. I hope things will stay strictly platonic between them, & maybe Edward will turn Bella one day. Although I must wonder what will become of Bella & Jacobs friendship if she does become a true member of the Cullen family.

Another fun read! When Edward decides he has put Bella's life in danger, he and his vampire family leave the town of Forks, in hopes that Bella will be safe and move on with her life. Bella, however, realizes that the love of her life is gone for good, and falls into a deep depression. Only Jacob, a lifelong family friend, (who has a major crush on her) can reach her troubled spirit. New Moon has a lot of action and romance, plus who can resist a love triangle as Bella is torn between Edward and Jacob! On to book 3!

This book made me cry a lot. I was very depressed because it was so sad, and stupid horrible jacob black was in it a lot. he is so annoying because he gets in the way with Bella and Edward and he is in love with Bella but Bella is in love with Edward and Edward is in love with Bella. This is my least favorite book in the twilight series because it makes me sad but i still like it. But the only reason i like it is because in the end Edward and Bella are together again!

Well without this book you would be lost.
But it definitely was not my favorite of the series.
If Edward is your favorite character then you may not like it.
I greatly enjoyed the beginning and the end.But the middle bored me alot.
But yet Twilight Series is AMAZING!

Wow, what a sequel! I am totally torn between what Bella should do. Having to choose a side in the inevitable war that will have her one true love against her best friend. I love Jacob's character....but my heart sides with Edward. I love how my book came w/ the Eclipse poster and New Moon tattoos!

I found this book disturbing for many reasons. Bella's attitudes & angst towards losing Edward are not healthy. Her co-dependency is not romantic, but nauseating & I'm not sure this is the message we should be promoting to young girls. Bella has not lived at the ripe old age of 18, but I'm afraid young readers will identify w/ her messages & tune into her "one soul mate for life" idea, despite the fact that real life usually doesn't turn out that way. One needs time to grow, experience & reflect before deciding on a life course or relationship. And let's not forget that Bella can't/won't/refuses to move on until another male notices her - oh please!!! That idea alone sets back the women's movement 200 years! Girls need to realize that a man does not/cannot complete them until they are confident, self-realized women on their own. What horrible messages this book sends to young girls! Romantic, no; nauseating, yes. Bella, go get a cause & go fight to save the dophins or polar bears!

The haunting, and intriguing story of a girl who moves to the rainest place in the US only to find adventure and love enough to last her eternities- really forever if her new boyfried Edward would just turn her into a vampire already! This book is a gripping novel that will keep you turning pages until the wee hours of the morning! I am 99.9% sure that you will fall in love with the story where the lion falls in love with the lamb- and you might just fall in love with the lion himself (I know I did!!)
