“This book is very controversial book however I enjoyed it very much. This is the follow-up to the book "Juiced" that former baseball player Jose Canseco wrote. It is basically a continued version of Juiced. The two books are about how Jose Canseco used and steroids and his journeys throughout baseball. In the book he is very unclear sometimes when he is trying to prove a point about someone else, or him using steroids. It makes it very hard to believe him, however when you hear his it is quite fascinating. The media and most people along with me do not believe his stories however, some of it is true. The most interesting thing about this book is that he could of lived with no one knowing that he had taken steroids. The way that i view it is at least he admitted to doing something wrong rather than being caught. This book really shows how one needle can change your life.”

Vindicated, the sequel to Jose Canseco’s first book Juiced, is a must read book. The author, Jose Canseco, World Series champion and MVP, accused many players of taking steroids in his first book, Juiced. Jose Canseco was immediately clobbered by the press for tarnishing the reputation of some of baseball’s best players. In Vindicated, Jose Canseco tells us stories about why he took multiple lie detector tests, why he wrote Juiced, and why he took steroids. Jose Canseco tells us stories about what the press did to him, why he shared information about steroids with players that asked him, why he encouraged players to use steroids, and why he loves baseball. The author makes the story seem like you were standing next to him. I would rate this book five stars out of five stars. Jose Canseco makes this book funny while using animated vocabulary and keeping serious about steroids. ”

Yes | No“"Vindicated: Big Names, Big Liars, and the Battle to Save Baseball" by Jose Canseco is the sequel to the book "Juiced", also written by Canseco. It is about the steroid era in major league baseball and focuses on players in the leagues today that have allegedly used performance enhancing drugs to gain muscle mass, increase stamina, or just make them feel invincible to normal human concerns. This book essentially is just an attempt for Canseco to make some extra money and slander the names of the stars today. The theme of the book is for his word to go against all others. He uses the names of current players and ties them to steroid use; most notably Alex Rodriguez: the third baseman for the New York Yankees and the highest paid athlete in sports history. Canseco, a former player was once seen as a living baseball god, all up until after his career. It was shown that he was a heavy user of steroids and that essentially made him such a great hitter. The information in this book is hard to believe after all that was said in the Mitchell Report, conducted by former senator, George Mitchell, which was started by Major League Baseball. I didn't like this book too much because it was repeating most of the information which I had known before reading this book.”

He names names; and expreses his contempt for the business of Major League Baseball. A little short on text, his entire testimony before the Mitchell (zzzzzzzz( For God's sake don't BUY this book, borrow it from the library!”
