“very good. The trilogy is a favorite of mine. The style of writing is unique to mccarthy - reminiscent to me of Hemingway”

“Probably the single most violent, bleak, depressing, sucks-all-hope-and-joy-from-the-world story I have ever read. This is the king of post-modern westerns, it really is an amazing book, often called the best American book of the last 25 years - but damn if isn't a rough ride.”

“Good plot, the movie parallels the novel quite well, so I was able to picture things in my head very easily. I did not like the last 30 pages, the part where Bell was just reflecting to himself. ”
