Allen's second book is a beautiful read. Once again she has created a world that is effortlessly magical. I love the character development and interaction. It's always a nice world to escape to when Sarah Addison Allen is the creator ;)

Loved it! Book is full of quirky characters and little bits of magic, while highlighting just how magical love-and the search for it is. Highly recommended.

For loney Josey Cirrini, magic begins when out of nowhere a strange woman takes up residence in Josey's closet! Once this know-it-all intruder starts telling Josey how to live her life,, even a little romance becomes a possibility. It is an enchanting story of friendship, love, and the mysteries that rule our lives. (Blurb written by Reader's Digest condensed version editors.)

I liked the way each chapter heading was a kind of candy, to reinforce the title.

Loved this one too. Again you are guided to see the not so obvious and how even the strange can really be normal. Love it! READ IT!!!

This book is one big surprise. My 13 year old loved it as much as I did. You will thoroughly love some characters and hate others. You will laugh hysterically at parts and be afraid to turn the page at other parts.

Besides, it became a fasicination to start thinking of describing people like candy after reading!
