I just finished reading Airhead by Meg Cabot. It was intriguing and different. For example, when you read it you think it’s going to be about this girl in high school and her love problems, but it’s not. In reality it’s about how a girl’s life gets changed completely and forever. Emerson Watts is a regular high school student, but one day when a huge/heavy television falls on her everything changes. She is now living inside of Nikki. She is a very successful super model at only the age of 17. At exactly the same time the television fell on Emerson, Nikki fainted and went brain dead, but her heart was still going. But Emerson was going to die so they decided to do a whole body transfer and it worked. So now Emerson is living in Nikki’s body with her brain. In addition, Emerson has a younger sister and she adores Nikki. Then Emerson (Nikki) decided to go back to her regular school, but while she is there she see’s that her best friend Christopher is depressed because he thinks Emerson is dead. (No one knows about her transfer other than her, her parents, and the doctors.) And now her in Nikki’s body she tries to befriend Christopher. I would definitely recommend it to someone who is smart and wants a mystery about celebrities. In Airhead before they say that Emerson is Nikki you can figure it out. Meg Cabot gives a lot of hints, but it is a mystery for part of the story. And if you like this book you can read the sequel Being Nikki also by Meg Cabot.
