“I just finished reading Airhead by Meg Cabot. It was intriguing and different. For example, when you read it you think it’s going to be about this girl in high school and her love problems, but it’s not. In reality it’s about how a girl’s life gets changed completely and forever. Emerson Watts is a regular high school student, but one day when a huge/heavy television falls on her everything changes. She is now living inside of Nikki. She is a very successful super model at only the age of 17. At exactly the same time the television fell on Emerson, Nikki fainted and went brain dead, but her heart was still going. But Emerson was going to die so they decided to do a whole body transfer and it worked. So now Emerson is living in Nikki’s body with her brain. In addition, Emerson has a younger sister and she adores Nikki. Then Emerson (Nikki) decided to go back to her regular school, but while she is there she see’s that her best friend Christopher is depressed because he thinks Emerson is dead. (No one knows about her transfer other than her, her parents, and the doctors.) And now her in Nikki’s body she tries to befriend Christopher. I would definitely recommend it to someone who is smart and wants a mystery about celebrities. In Airhead before they say that Emerson is Nikki you can figure it out. Meg Cabot gives a lot of hints, but it is a mystery for part of the story. And if you like this book you can read the sequel Being Nikki also by Meg Cabot.”

But that doesn't stop it from being a very enjoyable book with good messages for teen girls and just plain FUN. Also, Cabot has done enough research that you actually can kind of believe it could happen. All in all a fun book that goes by quickly like all of Cabot's works and makes you eager to read the next one. ”

10/9/09 Airhead Book Review
Recently I read a book called “Airhead” by Meg Cabot. I thought this book was marvelous. I loved this book. It was something people can relate to. First, regular tomboy girl Em (short for Emerson) is a total loser and everybody in school doesn’t like her. Then, her bratty little sister is in love with a pop star male singer. Her mom makes Em and her sister go to an Entertainment store to get his autograph, but while they’re there, supermodel Nikki, causes lots of commotion causing Nikki and Em to collide. I also loved this book because it was so mysterious. First, Em wakes up in the hospital bed, yet her voice sounds different, but whenever she asks someone what’s going on the doctors tell her to back to sleep. Then, finally she realizes she’s NIKKI!! So the doctors talk to her and they tell her they put Em’s brain in Nikki’s body because neither girl could have made it without the surgery. I also loved this book because I felt I had to read on; I couldn’t put the book down. It turns out these surgeries are top secret and no one outside the family can know about it otherwise her parents will have to pay $200,000 for the surgery (which they don’t have.) Then she finds out her parents agreed that in order for the surgery they couldn’t tell anyone AND all of Nikki’s original contracts for modeling must still be in order and there’s no way she can get out of her body….. I would recommend this like it. book because I think that it is an interesting book and a lot of people would probably
