“Emerson Watts is a baisic tomboy. Her only friend is Christopher, who she wishes was more than just a friend. When she is asked to take her little sister Frida out to the mall to meet her favorite celebreties, Em would rather stay home and finish playing her video games. Unfotunately, she has to agree. At the Mall, Em and "It" model of the moment, Nikki Howard, end up in a very freaky accident that knocks Em out cold.
When Em wakes up, she finds out that her brain has been transplanted into Nikki’s body. She is now expected to live in Nikki's life!! Being a staunch prep hater, Em can't handle being one herself...However, If Em reveals the secret about the brain transplant, her parents will be smacked with a $2 million lawsuit!
How is Em supposed to finish school in another person’s body? Will Christopher ever realize that even though Emerson’s body is gone, she is still around? And how is plain, old Em supposed to adjust to life as a supermodel?
Meg Cabot delivers another charming and hilarious novel, chock-full of witty one-liners. I couldn’t put Airhead down, and I’m definitely going to reread it. As a huge Meg Cabot fan, I can’t wait for the next book.

“A new series from Meg Cabot. Though the central idea of brain-transplant seems impossible, it does provide for a light and fun read.”

To everyone that would be a dream come true but not to but the funny thing happens is that she gets turned into one.....”

Not only were there the funny twists and turns about a smart girl's brain being transplanted into a supermodel's body but there was also the scientific and moral ramifications as well. Definitely a good read.”

She loves everything having to do with computers or video games, comfy clothes and most of all her oddly unique best friend Christopher. And to her little sister's dismay, she laughs at girly things like cheerleading and models and cute boy singers. All this put together is why it is Emerson's worst nightmare come true when she dies (legally, anyway) and her mind is put into the brain-dead body of top supermodel Nikki Sparks. Having read all of Meg Cabots other novels, i was a tad bit disappointed in Airhead. It was a little too science-fictiony and the romantic aspect was somewhat boring. Overall i thought this novel was a fun quick read.”

At first, i thought the book really was like some kind of "spirit transfer" thing like on Freaky Friday... but i really liked the story because it really makes you think... like firstly is brain transfers are really possible... and the real question of where does the true being of a person really exist? in your brain or in your heart?”

She must be nikki-(the supermodel ) and she will be considered dead her parent agreed to the contract there was a funeral for her but she could not attend it because she had to rest at the hospital because she just had her operation and did not know she was proclaimed dead her parents wanted her to settle in first before they tell her but she found out when her or rather nikki's friend kidnap her (because they thought the doctor's brain washing her .)”

So, maddening, yet so exciting, all at the same time.
A fun read. Can't wait to see how it all works out. ”
“Sixteen-year-old Emerson Watts doesn't care that the popular kids at school—even her younger sister Frida—criticize her for being uncool. She’s happy with who she is, baggy sweatpants, make-up free face and all. At least she has Christopher, a fellow video-game addict and her best friend in the world. It’s just too bad Christopher hardly even notices she’s a girl… And Em really wishes he would notice! But Em’s life is turned upside down when she accompanies her sister to the opening of a new department store. A freak accident lands her in the hospital, and when Em wakes up she is a different person. Literally. Suddenly she has the body of teen supermodel Nikki Ashton—and she is expected to take over Nikki’s life and responsibilities as well. This includes a modeling contract, an endearing but ditsy best friend, and three famous (and incredibly hot) admirers. Plus Em must figure out a way to still hold on to her old life—school, her family, and, of course, Christopher. Airhead is a fast and funny read that places an engaging central character in a bizarre yet fascinating predicament. And after the cliffhanger ending readers will be clamoring for the sequel (Being Nikki), which is due out in May 2009. ”

Em gets killed by a falling plasma screen and ends up getting a brain transplant and waking up in the body of Nikki, a supermodel. Enough said. Ended abruptly, sequel soon to follow to finish the story. Ick.”
