“(Borrowed from library) I'm not a real Sci-fi book reader but I took a chance at taking this book with me on a beach vacation. It made for a good sci-fi read on the beach and I did not mind getting toasted by the sun while reading it. It served my need for something to take my mind off of things and whisking me away into a fictional world.

If fictional alien disasters/Sci-fi horror is your thing and you like watching Sci-Fi channel movies, then you will like reading this book. If I need another distraction from the real world then maybe I'll consider picking up another Scott Sigler novel, but in the mean time I think I'll stick with my usual path of reading non-fictional works.”

“This was the most gruesome, graphic, but kick ass book I have ever read! Listening to the audiobook made it more chilling. The way Scott describes how the triangles are in your body almost made me gag. Awesome read!”

“this is a very disturbing book. i cringe and freak out nearly on every page i read. i am almost finished with the book and already mad that i dont have the next book.
this by far the best book i have read or will ever read (till i read contagious the second book lol) but i highly recommened this book to everyone who likes sick twisted sci-fi gory and mentaly disturbing books. (read in a dark place makes it seem more realistic)”

“I listened to Infected as an iTunes podiobook. First time doing an audiobook, and really enjoyed that element of it. The book itself was not bad, in fact, I really enjoyed the plot of the book, which I felt was very well-written and rich with thoughtful detail. The book had some excessive use of language which normally I do not enjoy, but was able to look past in this case. The shortcomings in this book were the characters, because I didn't feel connected to any of them or the over-used dad-issues. Despite these criticism, I feel the author has some real talent developing and I will probably read his sequel (Contagious) because of my intrigue to his storyline. ”
