I like this book a lot because I am a lot like the main character, Cindy.

I thought it was a really good book.
    But it was pretty dry.

I have heard the cinderella story before, basically all of america has. She has two step sisters and a horrible mom. In the end she gets the guy it is a very repeated story and there isn't much suspense.

Someone told me a story isn't about the ending its about how you get there.
Well in this story i knew the ending and the story about how they got there.

Cindy Ella is about a L.A. girl who hates prom, until she finds out her best friend is actually her secret crush! It's kind of hard to explain, but it's a great "fairy tale"!

I thought it would be like every other spoof of Cinderella, but it wasn't. I found it quite entertaining and finished it in about a day. Great book!

Cindy Ella was a very good book, definitely a page turner. It was about a girl that wasn't into the whole prom thing like the entirety of her school was in L.A. Her family didn't really help either with this situation because her step mom and 2 step sisters were the craziest ones about prom. Her dad just usually kept quiet about it most of the time. Cindy writes for the school newspaper, and write a column directly about this situation. The response from her grade wasn't a very good one, and people ended up thinking that she was even weirder than before. She had a cyber best friend that was one of her only 4 friends that really truly understand her about this, along with her huge crush Adam Silver. Many other things happen in the book along the way, yet the book has an amazing ending and it was a very good read.
Cindy Ella changes a lot throughout this book. At first she doesn't want to hear anyone elses opinions but her own, and she didn't really apply herself to anything but schoolwork as much as she could have. Throughout the story she gives her friends a chance to give her a makeover and to like the whole prom idea a little more than she did, so this shows a great change of character.

I think it's cool that the popular guy falls in love with the unpopular girl... And make everything change for Cindy Ella Gold...

I LOVED it!!! So funny, so true, so different, so romantic. It's just great! I suggest this fully! And of course: "Dude, we have a school NEWSPAPER?! How sweet!"-Nick DiFranco, biggest stoner. That's in this book, just to let you know
