Wow. Just wow. What an epic book and a fantastic follow up to The Name of the Wind. These books are like building a house... NOTW built the foundation of Kvothe's story, The Wise Man's Fear built the house, and I expect the house will come crashing down in the last book.

I loved reading Kvothe's story and seeing just where the heroic tales really came from. He really lives up to his "reputation!" I also love that the present day happenings at the Waystone Inn are mysterious and exciting.

While I did get a little bogged down here and there in the middle of the book, this was an amazing piece of story telling. Even with nearly 1000 pages, I was ready to read it all over again after I finished the last page.
