It's also a recommandation to all the people who visit or will visit LA or still believe the fairy tales spinned by the movies and tv.
James Frey uses nonfiction to lay out the history of la and fiction to tell more about the heart and soul of its inhabitants. Be it an actor, a couple from the mid west or a latin American girl.

“I loved this book. A lot of the interwoven story lines would have been interesting as the entire book. I love his writing. And think he got a bum wrap about a million little pieces or whatever it was called. But that's another story.”
