If you can forgive Frey for his earlier mistakes, this book is an interesting portrait of life in Los Angeles. Didn’t Like It

I didn't necessarily like this book. I felt it was a bit disjointed moving back and forth between 3 stories and having LA history thrown in as well. The stories were not incredibly interesting and while I didn't hate the book I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
