I read this book in a day. I was curious her life after seeing her appear on the Rachael Ray Show several times. I appreciated Valerie's candor about her insecurities and emotions. It really inpired me that she took responsibility for her the mistakes in her past and is working toward a brighter future.

Her weight loss is inspiring. Unfortunately that is the only good thing that I can say about this book or her.

I enjoyed this book. I had no idea what a life she has led. Great info on her life and "backstage" information on Van Halan. Easy read. Finished it in two nights. Recommend for beach reading.
