Description
Heart Sounds is a collection of poetry which begins with Heart of Haiku 5-7-5. Haiku is a form of Japanese poetry with seventeen syllables in three unrhymed lines of 5-7-5 syllables often describing nature or a season. The second poem in this collection is Heart of Cinquian. Cinquian is poetry with five lines. Line 1 has one word (the title). Line 2 has two words that describe the title. Line 3 has three words that tell the action. Line 4 has four words that express the feeling, and line 5 has one word which recalls the title. I have deviated from the norm and created my own Cinquian with 2-4-6-8-2 to describe my loved ones. The collection continues with more poetry from the heart.
