Clear and winsome defense of the Christian faith from a presuppositional approach. Keller approaches issues first by addressing prevalent doubts that prevent belief in the Christian gospel and then by building a beautiful construction of the Christian faith, beginning with belief in God. The...

Despite disagreeing and getting angry on almost every page, I really enjoyed this book. The Reason for God was like looking into an insane persons mind for me, because it was something I had never thought about, or thought about negatively. Timothy Keller fights for what he believes in, while I...

This is a wonderfully well written and concise argument primarily for the existence of the one TRUE God, and secondarily in support of the Christian faith. Keller does a very good job reasoning out the existence of God and the truth of Christ's sacrifice and resurrection. Whether you've already given your life to Christ, on the fence, or a convinced atheist, I highly recommend this book as a test for your personal beliefs.

Deals intelligently with the obvious objections that the once-Christian has to his faith. Useful but not rigorous.

I like the organization of the book and Tim Keller =) for some reason, it was a hard book for me to finish. I was reading it with a community group summer 2008 - but then I accidentally squashed a tomato with it in my backpack and it got really gross and I think my mom threw it out.... which explains the one year gap in between. But I think it's a great book for intellectuals who have doubts or questions about Christianity

Great book. I do not agree with everything, but it is well reasoned. The author does not hold to a high view of scripture, but the reasonings are very well done.

Was definitely worth the read. Very clear answers to some of the big questions people have that prevent them from following Jesus.

One of the best books on modern day apologetics I've ever read. I love this man's mind.
