“THIS BOOK was exactly what I was looking for. Old-fashion story, with a tiny bit of romance with unexpected turns. You could generally figure out how the book was going to end, but you never expected some of the things that happened to happen!! I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It reminded me of Lori Wicks books (like the proposal), but without and Christianity in it (really, it is about WITCHES!!)

I can not wait to read other books by Marissa Boyle and hope that they are all this good. The Characters were fun and witty. My favorite Character was Lochinvar and if you can pronounce his name, please let me know how...”
“This was cute. For me it was a little mix of Harry Potter and A Great and Terrible Beauty. It started strong, middle was a little long, and the ending was fun. Fun read!”

“i like it until the end it sort of drag and it felt it like it shouldn't have been include it. I could have waited to read that in book two.”

“Great story! The only disappointment was although we get to hear only Persy's thoughts, I didn't like her. I thought Pen was much more interesting. Persy was a bit stupid in her reasoning about...Lock...Loch...Lockinver - I'm sure that's wrong- whatever his name is.”

“It was funny how she went into the season thinking that she would just help Penelope find a husband, that way she could continue to privately study magic. But Penelope was the one who helped her realize that she was in love.”
