The 2nd book in the Night Huntress series picks up about 2 years after the end of the 1st book. Cat left Bones in the previous book to keep her mother alive. Cat has joined a special forces group run by the government and is a leader of a team that fight the paranormal.

Cat pines for Bones throughout the beginning and keeps telling herself they can't be together and she did the right thing. Bones however, isn't ready to let Cat go. He finds her and they join forces to fight an enemy...

Didn’t Like It

maybe it is because I had never read the first one of this series but I just could not get into this. I really tried but since there was not really ahracter building into the main characters I felt lost and could not catch up. I didn't even finish it.
