Queen Betsy is once again up to her eyeballs in chaos. The Fiends have become aware and are revolting against their majesties. Everyone in the house is in danger, especially the mortals. Officer Nick needs assistance from Betsy, which puts her in even more danger. To top it all off, she's now being haunted by The Ant. Some days are just tougher than others!

In the front of the book is an author's note explaining that the series is going in a new direction. I didn't feel like it was...

    As usual, these books are fun, in the modern idiom and vampiric to a degree but not horribly so. Lots of laughs and worthy of the time spent reading as with such short chapters, you read is fast. Evelyn S
