Love Gracie's books. Here we have a princess who has taken her son, the crown prince of Zindaria, and escaped to England the land of her birth. The Regent of Zindaria is trying to kill her son. She is abandoned on a smugglers beach in England and is found by Gabriel Renfrew. This is a fun romance and adventure

Although there was nothing really new here in terms of plot and characters, I enjoyed the story and it kept my attention. The timeframe was very condensed so any misunderstandings between the h/h were short-lived and quickly resolved. The secondary characters contributed to the story nicely and will likely show up in future books as the series progresses. I don't feel as if I got to know Gabriel and Callie very well, but I learned enough to care about them and wish them happy. There was some humor and clever banter in the story which I enjoyed, too.

I had to go back and check on this, make sure I remembered it right. I really enjoyed it a lot. The hero's a returned war hero who's getting a little bored with his life when lo, (and behold) a soaking wet woman and little boy appear on the top of the seaside cliff where he's riding late at night. She's a runaway princess, fled her kingdom because her son was almost poisoned. She's half English, born there, so she's come home to hide from the villain who wants to rule. The hero falls her instantly, and takes it upon himself to look after her. There's a lot of lovely dialogue, some great adventure, angst--it's a "true Gracie" of a book.

Hellion says: The Stolen Princess: Anne Gracie 4 1/2 stars. Gabe is absolutely delicious (though Gideon is still my #1); and the Devil's Riders are to die for.

As a "hopeful" romantic, I loved this book! It was a fun read, hilarious, romantic, and I couldn't put it down. I can't wait to read more by this author.

Another winner from Anne Gracie, with an adorable hero and enough of a supporting cast to make for some great future stories.
