14 was not the best book in the series by far but it was typical Plum fare and consistent with her past novellas. I personally am tired of the triangle so I didn't miss the lack of page time with Ranger (actually, it was quite refreshing for a change). Hopefully 15 will be better....

I assumed I would love this book like I loved all the others, so was shocked to find that half way through the book I was getting bored! There was just no excitement, Stephanie seemed to lose her spark somehow. Not enough Ranger or Grandma Mazur to keep me interested. Lula and Tank were great as always. What is it with the way people keep breaking into Stephanie and Joe's homes?

Did I miss something or did Stephanie make it through an entire novel and NOT lose a car? Did she still have the Zook-mobile at the end?

It was good, not as laugh at loud as others, but more serious in subject. New characters that are a hoot, but not long lasting, I hope. Not much on Grandma Mazur and I always look forward to her antics. Very little of Ranger in this one. Maybe JE is running out of PLUM material. BUt I will still wait for the next one to read. Would also like to see more of Motor mouth, I like her character also.

I usually rank all her Plum series as a 5 star rating, but this time she only gets 3...If you are a Plum fan...no question, you have to read this one. I did find it a bit disappointing - I feel like Evanovich bare bones'd the book a bit. I sort of feel like there will be another "between the numbers" book coming because there was something that was left open in this book, which is why it was so disappointing to me. She also lacked a lot of her usual details. It felt like she reverted back to her pre-Plum romance novel style. Don't get me wrong - I love Evanovich's Plum series so much that I will read whatever she writes.

I too am a litttle disapointed. Not enough Ranger and some of the characters did seem a bit off. Not enough Stephanie growth. With all this said I still would recommend but if money is tight wait for the paperback or go to the library

Interesting reactions. I thougt the last couple books were a little stale. I was tired of Stephanie's sister and the kids. I found this one fresh, and it felt as if it was a new start. I liked the new characters, and thought it was great that Stephanie's car didn't blow up, for a change. I'd recommend this one over twelve and thirteen.

I liked this book, but not as much as the others in the series. I know part of it was just sour grapes because there wasn't nearly enough Ranger in there (I've always been more of a babe than cupcake!), but also it seemed way to short with a really rushed ending. It WAS a fun read though and I'll be back for 15, just hoping for a little more next time.

Truly disappointing! This has always been a fun series, that I look forward to at the start of each summer. The whole time I was reading this, I felt that the author was just recycling old material, unsuccessfully. It wasn't funny like previous entries. It seems that each book that is released after one of the "in-between the numbers" books are only sub-par. I probably won't bother with 15.

I am 2/3 done the book and I am loving it. It is funny and I smile the entire time I read it. It is classic Plum! I started it late last night after I picked it up from the library. I will finish it today. Less than 80 pages left to read. I say you should all read it, if you like the series, you will love it.
