Hilarious at times. This quick read was a really entertaining view of the author's job in a major record company. Best line (IMHO): (p. 48) "An office job is like an indefinite five day a week Vicodin and wine binge." So true!

Light comedy about a guy in the right place (fell into a job as a record exec) at the wrong time (right when Napster and digital P2P solutions destroy the record industry). Book's comedy stems from the cluelessness of high level managers contrasting with how in-touch even the interns are with the future of music as a business and cultural phenomenon. Not a particularly interesting personal narrative, but a good snapshot of an interesting business climate at a unique point in its history.
