“Eleven is about a boy who turns eleven and on that day he finds out a big secret, he was adopted. He sailed on a boat to get to the adoption home.
Read the rest of the mystery to find out what happens. His character is kind of dumb to me. I was very suprised by what happened. By Brandon in Mrs. Calloways Class.
I thought birthdays were suppose to be fun. Man, I was wrong! They're especially not fun if you find out you were and maybe still are, missing. They are definitely not fun if you lived in a house with a mean woman, and a dude with flapping hands. Birthdays are the worse when you finally find a friend and learn that she will be moving soon. Well, that is Sam Mackenzies' life, and just to kinda top things off, he's a really bad reader, but, he does have a talent for carpentry. Alright, back to the whole missing thing. Sam found out he was missing, and how? He read an old newspaper clipping. Well, is he still missing? And how can he find that out before his new best friend (Caroline) leaves? Who are the people he is living with now, Mack, Onji, and Anima? Read Eleven to find out. I really liked this book, and I recommend it to anybody who is looking for a suspenseful story to read.
