Let me amend one my comment here. Of course, the bashing will continue, we are all entitled to our opinions including those that suddenly hate me for stating mine. Let me just say I still respect Stephenie Meyer as a writer, she does do an excellent job at bringing you into her world. I still like the series, I'll probably read it again in the future. I just don't happen to like this book so much and I HAD to read it to know that. That being said I wouldn't discourage others from reading it if they have read the other three. You have to finish the series and form your opinion. And now my original review:

Ever since I started reading this series I felt kinda childish for liking it. I mean it is what it is...YA Fiction. However, no matter how immature I found most of it, I was addicted. I got sucked into Bella's world and could not escape. I completely understood the negative comments, though. Well now with Breaking Dawn I'm just downright embarrassed. Sure we all want a happy ending love story, but come on...life is not perfect, choices have consequences, and EVERYONE doesn't always live happily ever after. Yes, I understand it's a fantasy book, but everything just came out too perfect.

**SPOILER FOLLOWS**

Also, I do not like being able to predict the books I read. I like to be surprised so when I knew the "baby" would be okay and then when I knew Jacob would imprint on it and then they both happened, it was just disappointing. So finally when there was bound to be battle I was getting somewhat excited again and then...BAM!! Nothing. All that work to lead up to this enormous battle and it doesn't even happen. Wow.

I have to say that I agree to a point. I was really into the book until after the baby was born and the whole transformation took place and then found it hard to stay as into as I had with the other three books. Not saying that it's not a good book and I can't wait to see how they make a movie out of it, but it was a little dissapointing and I struggled to stay interested after that.

I loved the book and the hole saga but on a fue things your completly right. I wasent expecting Jacob to imprint on the baby because I thought he had already imprented on Bella and wouldent tell her because he dident want to upset her. But I new the Baby was going to be okay and the fight, there could have been more!!! I was getting all worked up for nothing and i didnet like the way the book ended she should have said more about the baby and what happens to her and anyone that dosent like what i have to say get over it its my opion and yours is yours

I think all you people who think the end is "Too perfect" are crazy. If it didnt end the way it ended you all would be crying because its sad and ruined everthing. And, for another thing, if you feel childish for reading it then DONT! No one is making you and you obviously were interested so don't let it bother you. They're all great books and Stephenie Meyer did an amazing job on wrapping it all up. If you want a book tht isn't so 'childish', read The Host. Its not YA and its amazing.

I agree with some others. Keep writing your reviews truthfully. Its how you feel, thats why its called a REVIEW people and not 'lets lie to make people happy'. EVERYONE is entlited to their own opinion about a book and everyone whose bashing her should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. How dare you critize her opinion. Its HERS and not YOURS for a reason. So get over yourselves.

I read the entire series this past week, and was pleased overall. I did take issue with the writing style in the first book, but the story was so engrossing, I had to read the others. I am glad I did, I loved the characters, and the writing was better after Twilight. Maybe I was just so immersed at that point it didn't matter. ;) I did not like the 4th book as much, to be honest. To be a 700+ page book, it felt rushed to me, and almost like I was reading fan fiction, not the same saga. I am glad I read it, and it gave closure for the series, but it did seem a bit cliched and rushed. Just my 2 cents, I had no issue with the ending, just felt like something was lacking for me. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, that is what makes discussions fun. :)

I am in love with the Twilight series and whether they are YA or not I still enjoyed the series. Stephenie Meyer is good at what she does cause hay she got people of all ages in love with her books (good for her). But I do have to agree on you review because honestly there were so many thing that I waited for through the first three only to be dissapointed with the fourth. I still enjoyed Breaking Dawn but in my oppinion it doesn't come close at all to the greatness of the first three.

I totally agree. First off at least you read the entire book before doing a review on it and not just saying "oh I hated it!" and not even read it. And as much as I LOVE the series, when I first finished BD I LOVED it. BUT! I couldnt stand the happy ending. The whole 2nd half of the book led up to this fight, they got vamps from other places, trained, and... no fight! How disappointing! I felt like Stephanie rushed through this book and decided to give everyone what they wanted and just be done with it. I love the series and I loved Jake's part in this book (finally you get to see what Jake's thinking) but I dont think I'd read this one again.
