“I sometimes sit back and wonder how these great writers are able to find the words that help transport us to the time and place of their historical romance setting. Beverly Jenkins is truly a brilliant writer. I love her style and I honestly love how she brings the characters to life. I loved the central character Jewel. With each pen stroke, we were able to see the growth of this young lady as the story progressed. Love Beverly's writing style and this book was simply beautiful!!”
