Didn’t Like It“I couldn't finish it. I just couldn't sympathize with the characters.” see full review » see other reviews » |
“The Library Journal was absolutely right: "Quentin Tarantino Meets Die Hard".
This is a very violent book--lots of shoot-outs, chases, bullets and blood.
The plotting is kind of long and about mid-way through the two protagonists figure it out all too fast--it was a little too convenient.
But if you are into this kind of book, it's ok. Just not my keep of tea.
Abbott's a decent writer. He could tighten up the story a little bit; it did tend to go on for a bit.
Oh, and he never really explained the loyalty between one of the lead protagonists and his boss. I didn't get that at all.”
