I loved this. It was quirky and unusual, a mix of crime story, family drama, ghost story and social comedy that ends up greater than the sum of its parts. The story and characters were all believable and touching, and it managed to be laugh-out-loud funny (anybody who has ever had any kind of job that involves dealing with the general public will wince in sympathy) as well as heartbreakingly tragic. The story is well paced, with the different points of view and timeframes integrated with skilled handling, and each element resolves well. The ultimate ending ties things up in a beautiful and profoundly satisfying way. Highly enjoyable.
