• Lila: An android built by the Otopian government, they saved her from death when she was injured in the line of duty, spying in Alfheim, by making her into their ultimate weapon; the main character.
• Zal: An elf by birth and a demon by initiation, Zal is a rock star in Otopia, an oucast in Alfheim, and a member of a high family in Demonia. He is Lila's love interest and Sorcha's brother.
• Tath: An elf necromancer in life, he attached his spirit to Lila when he died, and resides in her body.
• Malachi: A faerie, and a member of the Otopian government. He works with Lila, and considers her a good friend.
• Max: Lila's sister; an out of work chef.
• Mr. Friday Head: An earth elemental residing in Zoomenon, he was changed by Zal during his time there. He's termed a golem, a creature made of earth, fire, bone, and spirit.
• Teazle: A demon, and an assasin. He's friendly with Lila, and considers himself in her debt after events in the book.
• Sorcha: A demon and Zal's sister, she's a pop star in Otopia.
• Dr. Williams: Lila's therapist.
• Sarasilien: An elf with many, many secrets, Lila regards him as something as a father figure.
• Jones: Add a description of this character.
• Dar: Elf and friend of Lila's. Lila killed him while saving Zal.
• Cara Delaware: Lila's boss.
