I so agree with you. What are the chances that LKH reads discussions such as this and actually takes such comments into consideration? I'll keep my fingers crossed that she is getting similar feedback. But, I must say that even with all of my recent complaints, I do love her writing. LKH has created some fantastic characters, and personally, for me, characters hook me more than plot does. I will continue reading Anita Blake books, even if it is the same sex scene over and over and over and over again just because I HAVE to know what is going on in Anita's life.

I have to say, I almost feel the same way. I read Blood Noir in about 2 days, and will continue to read on and on even if things don't get better. Although, I will admit, I may stop buying them in hardcover. If it's going to be the same sex scene over and over again, I might as well not pay out the nose for it. In any event, I thought the Harlequin was a sign of things to come, of things getting back to normal, but apparently that was not the case with Blood Noir. We can only hope that more plot comes out in the next book. And, there's always Merry Gentry :)
