Better than the first! I was intrigued by Gideon from his introduction in "Jacob" and I ended up loving him in this installment! He's the perfect blend of the Alpha males we love: the tortured hero and the hopeless romantic. Magdalegna is a great heroine, she's smart, independent and holds her among the most powerful males of her race. It was fun to watch her play hard to get and not just give into her desires for Gideon. Their

We see the Demons' powerful abilities and watch as they corroborate with their own enemies to battle the common threat to all Nightwalkers, the Necromancers. The addition of the vampires and lycanthropes made the story line all better! What starts off as a romance soon turns into a battle of good vs. evil! The story although slow at the beginning, picks up and pulls you deeper into the sumptuous Nightwalker world Ms. Frank has created. This is a series I will continue to follow!

Gideon and Legna's book was amazing! The Ancient Demon, who lived alone for centuries, hampered by wars and great loss, found his love in the King's Mind demon sister, Legna. She is an empath, who's inner beauty parallels her outer beauty. In this book all Nightwalker beings join forces to fight a common enemy for the first time in their history. I really liked Gideon and Legna's story!

I liked this edition to the series. Didn't expect to like Gideon at all because he seemed so stoic in the first book. It was fun discovering his sense of humor along with Legna. I fell in love with him! He is the perfect combination of hard and soft...tortured and free. Now moving on to book 3 with high expectations.

A very good book to read. Can't wait to read the others as well.
The act of Imprinting is very interesting and I definitely like the idea.

I enjoyed this a lot...it reminded me of Feehan's Dark Magic. The series is quite original...I was looking for something new after reading Cole's and Ward's series and while waiting for the new books... It was a breath of fresh air I guess... I will probably read some more of it in the future...probably...possibly...

This was a great second installment. It was a bit wordy without saying much or adding much to the plot, but overall it was a great book.
