Another book in the Nightwalkers series that seems to concentrate more on the actual characters then on the story itself. It isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it is an aspect of the novel that could be much more better written. All things aside it was a fun and easy read. Will read the next one as well.

Book 2 of the Nightwalker series and it was just as good as the first. I was intrigued by Gideon as a character seeing has he is the eldest of his race and yet was so mellow and withdrawn from people because of the incident with Jacob. He is an amazing healer that no one can compare too and is friends with the eldest and prince of the Vampires Damien. So to me he was the dark, brooding type of guy and it just caught my attention because it seems to be these qualities in a character that catch my eye. The fact that Legna had some natural hate for him also sparked my curiosity so when I read the summary that these two were imprinted I already had the feeling that would happen. I enjoyed this story a lot seeing the depth of Gideon and who he truly is. What he went through years ago and the wars he experienced. He is the history of his people and we really get to see how valuable and kind he really is. We get to see Legna grow up and learn to understand Gideon along with us and how they are meant to be together. We watch Gideon learns to show his emotion and see that there are things in life that are important and that there is always someone who is willing to see the good and understanding of a person even if he himself believes he isn’t allowed love or forgiveness. I loved how we got to see all the characters from Jacob and we get to see parts of humor and understand with them. I will keep loving this series if we keep getting a look into Jacob and Bella and their difficult life together as they are both the door to the nightwalker future. And lets not forgot Gideon and Legna’s surprised. “The first child of space that will be the play mate to the child of time” How appropriate would that work out to be?

Slower than the first book, but still interesting.

Felt very much like a filler book, but I suspect it's more that the author really liked the character of Gideon. That apparent affection makes this an enjoyable book.

I am really in love with this series. I didn't enjoy Gideon's story as much as I did Jacob's, but this series is well on it's way to being one of my favorites. Elijah is next.

Gideon sparked my interest in Jacob's book. He is freakishly hot with silver eyes and hair, if this doesn't set your soul on fire nothing will! Gideon may very well be my favorite nightwalker....but i haven't read Damien's book yet!

He has been in self isolation for many years. Magdelegna is the beloved little sister of the King and a mind demon. She had survived a summoning and now everyone wants to make sure she isn’t crazy. Not all demons need a druid, some imprint. He is cool, clam, and never wrong. Then he tries to tell her that. Guess who won. As the two drive into their new found relation ship, her best friend Isabella is attacked and Gideon goes to check out the other nightwalkers. The attacker is in their own back yard, but will they catch her?

This reminds of the Black Dagger Brotherhood but it focuses on different nightwalker races and is a great read.
