“Mary Roach is back! I'm very pleased to recommend her latest work, "Bonk". It's almost as good as her first book, "Stiff: The Curious Lives of Cadavers", and once again, I was entertained, amused, and instructed. Not every work of non-fiction can lay claim to that!

Didn’t Like It

“Sadly, I couldn't finish this one. While I adored her first offering, Stiff, I've found her work lacking ever since. Bonk was funny, informative, but ultimately I found that it lacked a very basic emotional connection to the material. Stiff was reverent along with its humor, but Bonk was a tad lifeless. And it takes a lot to make me lose interest in anything related to sex.
