“This was a (mostly) fascinating story of the many people who are involved in getting our blue jeans from the cotton fields to our closets. Some of the descriptions of processes and politics was a little too detailed for my interest, but the faces were a delight. I'll never (I hope) put on another pair of jeans (or anything else) without checking the "made in" tag and thinking about the lives that have touched the clothes.”
