Sundays at Tiffany's is the story of a young girl named Jane Margaux and her imaginary friend Michael. Jane's mother, Vivienne, a famous Broadway producer who has no patience for her plain daughter or for anyone who isn't important to her business. Her father has left the family for a new, younger wife, and her stepfathers never last long. Jane is lonely and relies heavily on her friendship with Michael, who is her imaginary friend. Every Sunday they meet at Tiffany's and she has ice cream while he has fruit. Unfortunately, on her birthday he tells her he has to leave her. The story picks up later when Jane is an adult and she begins to see her imaginary friend in her "real" life. Their stories unravel later on and then they both find out why Michael has mysteriously came back into Jane's life.
