“This was an amazing book!!!! I loved it and learned many lessons.
I LOVE WES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![3[3[3 HOTTIE”
“This is one of my favorite books that I read when I was a teenager. Macy is a very relatable character and her struggles with her mom and her boyfriend are realistic. Some books for teen girls are so over the top with drama that it doesn't seem like a book that could actually happen, but this one is. I loved this book when I was 15/16 and I'd have my daughters read it at that age.”Kaitlyn wrote this review Friday, April 12, 2013. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No

“Pages (100-391) As this book was ending it took some unexpected twists and turns that led me surprised by the ending. Sarah Dessen had develeped her characters especially the main characer Macy. Macy at first was a shy girl who had always wanted to be 'perfect' In her mind this would mean perfect grades, perfect routine, without having a single flaw. As the book continued macy realized that perfect doesn't exist, and that she should just be who she really is and not what she thinks other people want her to be. Throughout the many events that had occured Macy realized that the idea about forever could be interperated in many different ways, and that she shouldn't stop living because she was afraid when 'forever' will end. For example on page 391 it states, "Forever was so many different thing. It was always changing;it was what everything was really about. It was 20 minutes, or a hundred years, or just this instant, or any instant I wished would last.." Macy had developed as a character throughout the book and had changed from a shy worrying girl, into a happy girl who was who she was and continued living with her life.
Pages (60-100) As I keep reading this book, I start to see the character development start to happen already. As well, one of my predictions had came true. This prediction would be that Macy had gotten tired of working at the library because she is starting to stop liking things in her life to be so quiet, and had started to enjoy more chaotic activities that will help her to feel less lonely. Macy is also starting to realize that things that happen in life may be all for a reason, and that it doesn't mean that life will be horrible just because there was a bump in a road. One prediction that I have is that Macy's mom would start to realize that Macy is changing and developing into a new character, but would sadly not like the way that Macy is now.
Pages(33- 60) As I continue to read through this book, there happen to be more and more occuring events in which Macy experiences bad moments. Everywhere she turns, there is something that reminds her of her father. Macy is now finding it difficult to pursue her goals through the summer without getting distracted. I predict that in the coming few chapters, Macy will quit her intern job that she only took to impress her boyfriend while he was away, and to continue, I also predict that instead she will agree to one job offer which was the catering job. I believe that this will happen becuase normally in books the character starts out one way, and as the book proceeds the character acts the opposite of their previous acts.
This book, "The truth about forvever" by Sarah Dessen, so far is about a young girl figuring out who she is. This young girl named Macy, and her father had just passed away. Macy is trying to have that feeling that it was her fault out of the way. Everyone around her is moving on, so why can't she? The beginning of this book has a large hook, having the reader be grabbed into the book. Sarah Dessen gives the reader a few clues of what might happen next, but hasn't given the full story of what happened quite yet. I am enjoying this book, and want to try to finish it quickely. ”
