Ok, I started reading this book and I have to admit I was not a big fan. BUT... the voice of the character kept me reading on. Even though sometimes he rambled a bit, it was part of his charm... that and the sarcasm and the wit. So I read on, and the end was smashing. Love it! I almost want to see what he's up to on the next leg of his adventure... and I would, if I didn't have 100 other books to read! :-)

I agree. Forever Odd was not quite as good as Odd Thomas. But that may be because I wanted it to go differently than it did. Still love the 'off' characters and see the pathos and irony he's offering as our main dish. And it's delicious!
