“I found this book in Iraq and brought it home with me. Most of the essays are inspiring and quite thought-provoking about what it means to be a first or second generation immigrant to America as told from a woman’s perspective. This is one book I am planning to keep for my daughters to read when they are old enough. I think Angela Jane Fountas complied a nice selection of perspectives and experiences.”
