Extremely fast paced. One gets woven in the character of a girl from her college days to middle age. This is a reality of a middle class women in India in 70s/80s.

    This is a pretty monotonous, story of an Indian woman's life- her marriage, her child. It reflects ambiguously on Indian society- its good and bad. But, underneath it all, it was an OK book with a marginal, unimpressive ending.
