I enjoyed this book. Bringing back characters I already enjoyed and adding more that you want to know more about. It was a good read. The end shocked me a bit, but it just made me even more curious about what was to come in the next book.

It's a great book for entertainment purposes only...easy reading when you don't want to think. Another book about failed relationship & revenge.

This sequel did not hold my attention, due to the fact that Monica is just as stupid in this book at the last. I fine that hard to believe....I know people are brain dead, but come on. The ending really surprised me and that i loved it I had to give this a 3.5.

Not as great as the first but not as bad as it could have been.

Once again, rodney Marcus Johnson creates a blend of incredible characters. truly deceptive, humanistic and dealing with real hard life issues. This is a masterful pageturner that did not disappoint the first Novel in the Deception series. The ending was fiyah...and smoke, I can't wait for The third in this trilogy..The million Dollar Demise. Memorable story from Freddy,Monica,Tabitha,Nate& Lewis. Will lil Nate take over and what will his baby sister play a part in part 3? If you haven't read RM Johnson...any of his books, you are truly missing out. I highly recommend this book, this author. I love him!

Read The Million Dollar Deception after you read The Million Dollar Divorce. It's a sequence that you'll enjoy!

Can't wait for the next installment of this sequence of books. I don't want to ruin the end of this book but I'll say this...it'll have you begging for more!

Its 4 years later and drop dead gorgeous entrepreneur Nate Kenny is back again being devious and conniving then ever before, thinking anyone can be bought with a price. Monica divorced Nate and became millions of dollars richer.

Keeping it moving she started a new life with Lewis Waters and his baby girl Layla who she truly adores and treats her as her own. As the saying goes "it's not always greener on the other side", Monica begins to realize that she and Lewis is not compatible but gives it her all to try to make the relationship work. In the meantime she seeks advice from her good friend and co worker Tabatha, who thinks Lewis is a dead beat and is not worth a pot to piss and a window to through it out of and is only with Monica because she is financially stable.

Meanwhile Nate is still at his wits end because he can't get over the fact that Monica walked away with $15 mill of his money from the divorce settlement. He comes up with the ultimate plan to bring out the worst in Lewis with the help of his Lewis's best friend Freddy and at the same time tries to get the money back in his possession, but in the process Nate begins to realize that he is still in love with her. Slowly but surely Monica is falling for Nate but is she willing to risk going back to her past and not see what her future may bring.

The Million Dollar Deception: A Novel is full of action, drama, and jaw dropping intensity. This was a fabulous read that is to die for, very fast pace from beginning to the bitter end. This book will have you screaming for more. I read this book in one day and a half and it was worth it. RM Johnson is an exceptionally gifted with the pen and will go far in the literary world.
