“SLASH by Slash and Anthony Bozza is a crazy fast paced biography/autobiography of Slash's extraordinary life. We'll written story upon Slash's entire life. There's plenty of funny shanangians/ problems Slash gets into with the funny stories to go along with. Its hard to stop reading this book! If you love Guns n' Roses and enjoy their music, you'd fall in love with this book..Slash's motto- "SEX, DRUGS AND ROCK N' ROLL". ”

I saw them three times in Sweden and was a true fan until they split up. This autobiography is fucking fantastic. It gives an insight in some of the problems (both internal and external) the members of GN'R were struggling with. I could not in my wildest fantasies imagined how bad it was. A great read I recommend anyone slightly interested in rock music to read. You won't be disappointed.”

Overall, it was a well written account of an extreme, cool life, with one exception. Numerous times, Slash (or his ghostwriter) would go off on an interesting anecdote, but then cut it short by saying "but more on that later". I thought it was incredibly lame--and it almost became a catch phrase of the writing style.”

I thought that the way Slash wrote was insanely good. He has a way of telling you his life story as if he were right in font of you. I do think I may be a little biased towards this book because I am probably Slash's biggest fan, so I most likely won't find anything wrong with it. The book tells you of Slash's childhood and adulthood, as well as the history of Guns N' Roses. A great thing about the way Slash tells his story is that when he mentions a conflict between him and someone else, he always states his opinion but adds that in someone else's mind the story is different. the fact that Slash's childhood is so similar to mine also made me want to read this book. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes a true tale of debauchery and ups and downs.”

I love Guns N' Roses and this explains the whole beginning of the band and all of the hardships they went through to become who they are today. It's pretty detailed and graphic but all of it is essential to the whole story. I'm in love with this book!”
