  “This novel was supposed to be the last in the Crown of Stars series, but it was deemed too long to publish as it was. You can tell in the final volumes that Elliott wanted to say more, but felt that the books would run too long. As opposed to the first 4 volumes, 5, 6, and 7 have less of the chapter jumping between characters and longer stretches base on Liath, Sanglant, and Alain. Doesn't have the pace of the first few, but they still are good reading!”
