There is the blood and gristle factor and gritty way of handling problems that lets me vicariously tackle whatever "bugged" me that day and mentally beat it into submission. The main character is a strong female and though most of the males she encounters does try to bed her - most of the attempts are not because she is so attractive that they "just can't help themselves." One just sees her as a simple challenge and another is just in the habit of trying to bed any woman no matter who she is... (Saiman and Hound) The rest of the characters are a wonderful mix and I can't wait for the next novel!!!”
