Actual things that happen to actual people are really more interesting than almost anything that fiction writers can make up. A warning: don't read this before bed if you are an emotional person, because they're deeply affecting--I had a hard time going to sleep afterward.

Not as good as This I Believe, (which made me cry!) this is a collection of stories from the StoryCorps project, these vignettes are often poignant and touching.
