  • Yuki Cross: The adopted daughter of Chairman Cross who knows nothing of her origins. She works as a "guardian," ensuring that the day class students don't realize the handsome, popular night class students are vampires.
  • Kaname Kuran: Kaname is a Pure-Blood. He cares for Yuki and tries to keep her from harm. Although he despises Zero, he allows him to live so he can protect Yuki.
  • Zero Kiryu: Zero is vampire that use to be a human. He us slowly deteriateing into a 'Level E' Were he will loose all of his sender and go on a feeding frenzy. His family was attacked by a Pure-Blood, and has hated vampires ever since that day. He accidentally attacks Yuki, and tries to leave, but Yuki stopped him and is determined to keep him from turning into a 'Level E'
  • Shizuka Hio: A Pure-Blood vampire who is usually referred to as 'That Woman'. She attacked the Kiryu family to take revenge on the family for killing her lover; every member of the family was killed, save Zero, who she turned into a vampire.
  • Kian Cross: Yuki's adoptive father, he took her in when Kanume brought her to him, she has been with him ever since.
