“I didn't really "feel" this book. I felt sorry for Sophia and that's about it. What everybody in town was doing to her was awful and I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy, but enough was enough. The sheriff character was way out of line and was just too much. I think if everybody in my town hated me I would leave and she did have a way of leaving in the beginning (with the help of Gail) so why she stuck around confuses me. Eve was also a little out there. She sleeps with someone once and announces that she hopes she's pregnant? Sounds a little of balance to me. Then to throw the woman her boyfriend loves in his face then get jelous about it? Crazy ,once again. As for Ted, he just wants what he can't have, pouts about it for 14 years, uses his friend, gets dumped and is already thinking of how to get Sophia into his bed. Not diggin' it.
