It is the story of Isabel Spellman a 30 year old private investigator who is figuring out life one day at a time and is resolved that she probably never will grow up. The book basically explains how she...” see full review » see other reviews » |
“Enjoyable story of the Spellman family who are a loving, slightly neurotic, owners and operators of a detective agency based in San Francisco. Great characters, with each one having earned a special place in my heart over the course of the series, with this being the third thus far. ”

Somehow in a family of spies this is a thousand times worse. I am sure that all of us would stalk a potential boyfriend for 2 weeks and run background checks and surveillance on him if we had the know how. But, would we label the next potential candidate as soon to be ex boyfriend number 39. Our plucky heroine is funny resourceful and probably totally off her rocker. Her family, fortunately is no better. The series starts out with our main character involved in a car chase. She finally decides to stop and face her tailers. Finding out who was on her trail was so funny, it made me read the rest of the book and then of course the series. I cannot wait to read the next one.”
