I think John Grisham is slipping...this book did not meet up to the others I have read....very disappointing.

Actually this was one of Grisham's better books of late; it wasn't as predictable as many others he's written.

I didn't like this one. It seemed to go to one extreme to a different one. Not my favorite.

An interesting statement on the U S judicial system. Could this happen in the U K?

I loved the story, the message, the concept -- but the ending was a HUGE letdown. For some I am sure it ended they way it should have.

Just when I thought I knew how it would end...

Like all Grisham's books dealing with legal issues, I had an emotional investment in the outcome of the story. His characters are real and lovable/hate-able... the good guys vs the bad. Of course, sometimes it depends on whose side you're on...

Gut wrenching. It really seems that the little guy never gets an even break. My brief foray in local politics taught me that what Grisham writes is only too true.

I found very interesting but didnt like the way it ended.
I would have loved it if Krane Chemical have lost the appeal.
Wes and Grace really suffered for that case and lost all in defence of the people.

I had a hard time getting in to this book. Once I did it was a good read and even though I didn't like the ending, it makes you think.
